

Your body is just like a car. It needs to move very often because if not it will probably get damaged. And it needs fuel to be able to move and work properly. I always think about this analogy whenever I go to the gym because there we move our bodies to be able to stay healthy and fit. But haven’t you got that feeling when you finish training that you are just so tired you can barely move? Sometimes your legs are to sore and your head a little dizzy. That is because your body is asking you for fuel. When we workout our bodies tend to use up a lot of energy because we are in a intense physical activity. Our bodies use up energy and after that it needs to recharge and get energy. It is actually bad not to eat anything 30 minutes after you finish working out because your body starts take absorb energy from your muscles.Which causes you to burn your muscle mass. And that is not good because the less muscle you have, the harder it is for your body to burn calories. This is why I am going to give you my after burn protein smoothie. Many people have arguments about this because they think that you shouldn’t eat anything after the gym but actually its just logic if you think about it because when you do any sort of physical activity your body will ask for a source of energy in return which is food. Another thing to take in mind is to eat something before going to the gym because burning high calories requires something from your body to absorb energy. It can be something as small as a banana with almond butter or dates. This is normally my breakfast. It is healthy and satisfying meal to start your day.
Ingredients:
- 1 scoop chocolate protein powder (ISOO 100)
- 1/2 cup mixed berries
- 1 frozen banana
- 1 tsp chia seeds
- 1/2 strawberries
- 1 spoonful coconut yogurt
- 1 handful of ice cubes
- 1/2 cup of water
Directions:
- Start by getting a blender and putting the water inside the blender
- Add the banana, berries and strawberries
- Lastly add the ice, coconut yogurt, protein powder and chia
- Close you blender
- Blend for about 20-25 seconds until smooth
- Serve the smoothie on a glass
- Enjoy!
